I live in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. As far as I am concerned, I love living in Warsaw. It is a great place for travellers too as there are many interesting places to see.
Warsaw is located in the eastern part of the country, almost in the centre. The Vistula River, the longest river in Poland, divides the city into two parts.
In the very centre of the city, there is the historic Old Town with the famous Mermaid Statue. What is more, there are many skyscrapers in Warsaw since the biggest Polish companies are located in the capital. There are also quite a few museums and approximately 30 theatres. For those who love nature, Warsaw provides 13 reservations and a dozen or so forests. On weekends, plenty of clubs and bars are occupied by young people. There are also some attractions for sports fans, for example skate parks, playing fields or The National Stadium. When it comes to the means of public transport in Warsaw, people may choose trams, buses or the underground. The Warsaw Metro is the only underground in Poland.
To sum up, some people love Warsaw, others hate it. I personally think that is a beautiful and well-developed city. It is definitely worth seeing.
